News Team Henselite Harlow begins World Title Defence
January 7, 2011

Henselite UK sponsored player Greg Harlow begins his defence of his title at the 2011 Potters Holidays World Indoor Singles Championship which gets underway this week.  It was a case of '15th time lucky' when the 42-year-old Englishman from Ely clinched the world title for the first time at Potters Leisure Resort a year ago.

Harlow, who sits top of the provisional WBT World Rankings after reaching the last eight of the Scottish International Open, will open his defence against young Irish qualifier Gary Kelly, who is also a sponsored player of Henselite UK.

Other Team Henselite UK players participating at the premier World Bowls Tour event include three times former champion Paul Foster, Jason Greenslade, Ian Bond, 2008 winner Billy Jackson while Alex Marshall MBE goes searching for a sixth title.

The World Indoor Championships is the flagship event within an internationally renowned festival of world-class bowls at Leisure Resort from 7-23 January - which also includes the World Indoor Pairs Championships, the Ladies World Matchplay Championships and the Mixed Pairs World Matchplay Championship.

We wish all the Team Henselite UK players the very best of luck at the event.
