Team Henselite star Mark Dawes is the new World Indoor Singles Champion after beating England teammate Robert Paxton in a quality final, winning 8-7, 6-8, 2-0.

The match showed off Dawes relentless drawing ability. The Blackpool Newton Hall ace is now a double World champion following his Pairs success with fellow Team Henselite 
star Jamie Chestney earlier on in the Championships.

After the final Mark commented ‘ I felt comfortable on the rink all week and knew that the roads to the jack were there for me to win, this is the highlight of my bowling career so far and I would like to thank everybody for their support especially this last 2 weeks’.

Mark’s triumph was another success for the Henselite Tiger bowl with it now being used by 7 different players in winning 11 World Indoor Singles Championships since 2004. With Marks double success, Jamie Chestney’s double by also winning the World Mixed Pairs, and Katherine Rednall’s outstanding World Ladies Singles win it has once again been an incredible week for Team Henselite.
